    Simply outstanding. Went the extra mile and beyond.
    Attentive, responsive and organised repair work, surveys and called on site not only with prospective purchasers but with builders etc.
    I was selling quite an old cottage and i would have really struggled without Newell supporting the sale.
    With Alan Newell you get experience and not some youngster working in a big Agency.

    Have no hesitation using this firm. You wont be disappointed. 7 stars.

    This is the worst estate agency I've had to deal with, and I've moved house a lot of times, so have dealt with quite a few. When I handed in my keys of the property I was leaving, I told Alan that I still had stuff in the garage. So he arranged for a skip and for me to pay £180 for it. I was under the impression that I would be informed when the skip arrived so that I could try to salvage some of the stuff. No word from him. I've texted him on numerous occasions and he has ignored every message. I moved out over a year ago. I've also emailed, he ignored that too. I've given one star as that is the least I can give. In reality he wouldn't get any stars. Despicable service.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. Myself and my partner put a bid on a house that had been on the market for a long time, we bid over the asking price and requested that the seller be informed that we would like the house to be taken off the market. Alan Newell ignored the conditions of our offer and not only neglected to inform the seller but also called round all parties that he thought might be interested in this doer upper, despite previously letting it sit for a long time without much interest. Magically, the next day there was a slightly higher offer on the house which had sat without any interest for months. We asked Alan Newell to keep us informed of what happened as we were willing to up our bid but did not want to get into a bidding war. We never heard back so my husband eventually called to be told that he had advised the seller to accept the other party’s offer because we clearly weren’t interested!! My husband informed him of the price we had in mind and he immediately started to backtrack and said he could try to sort this out. We obviously were very reluctant to proceed and told him not to bother, he therefore did the seller out of more money through his underhand dealing.
    All of this was accompanied with constant rude behaviour on Alan’s part, ignoring any questions or comments I made and preferring to only address my husband despite me booking the viewing and being the main point of contact.
    Alan’s approach to business is outdated and underhand and does not benefit the buyer or seller, avoid at all costs.
